NWC Exclusive: Trailer Loading a Fearful Horse in an Emergency Situation

0202_01

At some point in your horsemanship journey, you’re going to be faced with getting a horse loaded on a trailer in an emergency situation. It could be anything from your horse having injured himself in the pasture and you need to get him to the vet immediately to being involved in a traffic wreck and you need to load your horse on a new trailer on the side of a busy highway.

No matter what the situation is, one thing is for sure – you need to be able to quickly load your horse on the trailer without further injuring him or upsetting him. That’s all fine and good if your horse is well-trained and you’ve taught him how to properly load on a trailer, but what happens when the horse has had little handling or flat-out refuses to get near the trailer?

Those are the questions Clinton answers in the February No Worries Club digital download. By the end of the training session, you’ll have more tools in your horsemanship toolbox and be equipped to safely handle an emergency trailer-loading situation.
